Another frugal tip for startups (different than in daily life, I know) is exchanging equity for services. You'd only give up a tiny amount but you get to keep your cash. There are marketplaces like http://services4stock.com that let you find places who would work for stock instead of cash - seems to make sense this year.

Bartering - frugal tip #8!

Nice writeup. Further to the sunday paper / coupon thing... I check my grocery store flyers once a week (you can subscribe by email to a lot of them now even) and just stock up on whatever is on sale. It's crazy how much I save not paying full price on anything ever :)

If you would like to implement some of Stephen Covey's best ideas, you can use this web aplication:

<a href="http://www.Gtdagenda.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.Gtdagenda.com</a>

You can use it to manage and prioritize your Goals (in each of your life's categories), projects and tasks, in an intuitive interface. It has a Checklists section, for the repetitive activities you have to do, important but not urgent (Quadrant II, for example your routines/habits). Also, it features a Schedules section and a Calendar, for scheduling you time, activities and for the weekly review.

Some features from GTD are also present, like Contexts and Next Actions.

And it's available on the mobile phone too, so you can access it wherever you are.
